Tyler Recker- Teaching Pastor
The Lord saved Tyler at a summer camp in July 2000 and immediately gave him a desire for pastoral ministry. He received a Bachelor’s Degree In Christian Ministry from Leavell College (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary) and is pursuing a Master’s of Divinity through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tyler served on staff at NewBranch Community Church for five years and has a variety of other ministry experience including be part of 2 previous church plants. From early 2021 until the start of Antioch, Tyler served as a lay elder at NewBranch.
Tyler and Leah have been married since 2007. They have 4 kids- Knox, Payton, Wyatt, and Theo. In his free time, Tyler enjoys fun with the family, reading, cooking, dabbling in woodworking, and following hometown Atlanta sports teams.
Austin fain- Director of students
Austin was saved by God’s grace at the age of 13 during a Sunday morning church service in his hometown of Duluth, GA. The Lord impressed on his heart the desire for pastoral ministry not long after his conversion.
Austin is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from Spurgeon College (Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) while serving part-time as Director of Worship and volunteering in the student ministry. Prior to Antioch, Austin has served in different capacities in churches across northeast Georgia including 3 years on staff at a church plant.
Austin has been married to his wife, Meghan, since 2016. They have 2 children - Hudson and Noah. In his free-time, Austin enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, sports, playing board and card games, enjoys good food, and listening to music.
Kevin Sanders- Pastor: worship and community
God saved Kevin in his early teenage years, and during his senior year of high school, he sensed a calling and desire to pursue ministry. Kevin holds a BACM in Christian Ministry from Leavell College of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and an MTS in Practical Theology from Reformed Baptist Seminary. He has also completed training through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). Kevin also serves with Connection Point Biblical Counseling and Training Center.
He is married to Lauren, and together they have seven children: Hudson, Riley, Piper, Aiden, Haddon, Jude, and Mercy. In his free time, he enjoys reading, fishing, spending time with his family, and following Red Sox baseball.
